Birthmarks removal

Birthmarks can be removed for cosmetic reasons or to address health concerns. Treatment options include: 

Laser therapy

Uses light and heat to reduce the size and color of birthmarks. Laser therapy can be effective for many types of birthmarks, including red, brown, and blue birthmarks. It's usually most successful when started in childhood, but can also be used for older children and adults. Laser therapy can cause redness, swelling, and temporary crusting. 

Surgery

Can be used to remove birthmarks that are deep, large, or could become cancerous. Surgery can leave scarring.
